This note is relevant only to clients who purchased a high powered WiFI router from Paypont and provides instructions on how to update the configuration on the router, if instructed to do so by Paypont.
Your high powered TP-LINK Wifi Router/Access Point ("AP") can be easily and quickly configured to Paypont specifications by uploading the supplied configuration file to it.
Please follow the steps below:
.1Store the supplied configuration file on your laptop and rename it to "PAYPONT2.bin".
.2Ensure that the AP is powered on and connected to your main router.
.3Now connect your laptop to the AP by using a network. Alternatively, connect to it wirelessly using the WIFI SSID and wifi password printed on the label on the back of the AP. DO NOT CONNECT TO THE PAYPONT2 network at this stage.
.5This will take you to the login page of the router. You will need to enter the password "epaylaundry1" to gain access.
.6Click on "Advanced" settings in the top right of the screen.
.7Scroll down the left menu bar (showing options "Status, Region, Wireless......." till you the "System Tools" option.
.8Click on System Tools and navigate to "Backup and Restore".
.9In The Restore section, upload the "PAYPONT2.bin" stored on your laptop and press RESTORE.
.10Wait for the router to upload settings reboot itself.
.11PAYPONT2 network is now correctly setup on the AP in your store and your machines will automatically connect to it (provided it has internet connection through your modem router).
.12Connect to PAYPONT2 network from your phone or laptop using password "epaylaundry2" and confirm that you are able to browse the internet.
